Libyan Embassy Fiasco

Libyan Embassy Fiasco

“Osama bin Laden is dead and Al-Qaeda is on the run:” President Obama, five days before the attack on the embassy in Libya on 9/11/13.  The narrative that was trying to be promoted by President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was that the tumultuous area in the Middle East and surrounding area was pacified.  You would have to be living in a complete state of delirium to believe that.

One faction or another has been trying to drive the Israelites out of the Holy Land since the time of the Exodus and will continue till the end of time.  Any supporters of Israel will incur the same wrath.  In 2 Samuel 12:10 we see God telling David, “….the sword shall never depart from your house….”  Believe it or not, it’s your choice.

“What difference does it make?” ???  Nice try Madam Secretary.  If you can’t or don’t want to answer the Congressman’s question at the Congressional hearing, put up a smokescreen of indignation.  The difference that it makes is that you screwed up.  Instead of answering Ambassador Stevens urgent pleas to beef up security at the Libyan Embassy you were withdrawing security forces.  You had all the authority you needed, while your boss was out campaigning for the 2014 elections, to provide the security the Ambassador needed.  That’s why you were given the job of Secretary of State.  As late as August 16th
dispatch was sent to you by the Ambassador stating that 10 different hostile militia groups were present in Benghazi and that there was an Al-Qaeda training camp active in the city and that the embassy could not sustain an organized attack.  This was reported by investigative reporter Catherine Herridge.

The Secretary gambled with the lives of the Ambassador and others to promote the image that the administration cleared the area of any hostile forces and she lost.  If this happened anywhere but in government I don’t think it’s far-fetched to believe she would be facing manslaughter charges.
